Stories of love, faith, healing, and the courage to choose yourself.
Nia believed love could still change him — holding on was loyalty and letting go was failure — but as the relationship broke her, she faced the terrifying freedom of walking away. The film follows her journey through heartbreak to the truth that God’s protection doesn’t always feel like peace at first — a story of love, faith, healing, and the courage to choose yourself.

A Christian filmmaker telling stories from a place of faith, truth, and lived experience.
Reine Solkem-Masra is a Denver-based Christian filmmaker — a director, creator, producer, and star of her films.
Born in Chad and raised in the Central African Republic, Reine is the sixth of ten children. Her stories come from a life shaped by survival, faith, heartbreak, and the choice to keep becoming.
She makes films for people who are still working through trauma — people learning that healing can be painful, love should not cost you yourself, and God can be protecting you even when the moment does not feel peaceful.
Reine is the author of The Power of Being a Woman: From Survival to Strength, a memoir about pain, healing, and becoming.
